Prepper's Note (Sunken Funds)

Prepper's Note is a letter in Far Cry 5, which is related to the mission, Sunken Funds, and can be found inside a metal box hung by the plywood-boarded door of the pump house situated above the Silver Lake Boathouse.

Hey Mike,

I tried to get into the underground stash, but a pipe burst and flooded everything. I have no idea what's still salvageable.

We need juice to run the pump to drain the water. I know the power switch is in the boathouse, but it's locked and you didn't leave me the key, so I'll leave that to you

Trivia

• Garrett, the note's author, and Mike, its intended recipient, would appear to be the custodians of the Silver Lake Boathouse, (located in the Silver Lake Conservation Area), as they seem to have access to the boathouse, its pump house, and the underground maintenance bunker the two seem to have appropriated and converted into a survival shelter.
  • Since the area would seem to formerly been under the control of the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks^[1] (or "Montana FWP"), it can be reasonably inferred that both Garrett and Mike are employed as park rangers (or at least in the employ of Montana FWP).
• It's likely that this letter was written after Eden's Gate had begun its latest, most violent attempt at taking over Hope County, as it references both men attempting to access the supplies they'd stored in their flooded "bunker".
