Hours of Darkness
Joker is described as a "live wire" and chose being drafted into the army rather than serve time in jail. Joker along with the rest of his unit had their helicopter shot down behind enemy lines and were subsequently captured. He was being detained at an NVA Prison Camp until he was rescued by Cowboy.
Trivia
- His nickname "Joker" might be a reference to the Vietnam War movie "Full Metal Jacket", where the main character is dubbed "Private Joker" by senior drill instructor Gunnery Sergeant Hartman.
- He is the only of the squadmates that use the weapon used in the intro. Yokel uses a MS16 in the intro, but a SVD in the game and Moses uses a M133 in intro, but a M60 in game.
