The M2 Browning machine gun is a heavy machine gun that appears in Far Cry and its remaster, Far Cry 2, Far Cry 5, Far Cry New Dawn and Far Cry 6.
It was designed by John Browning towards the end of World War I. The M2 fires the .50BMG, the same cartridge used by the AS50 and gives it its nickname, the "fifty cal". It is the primary heavy machine gun of NATO countries and has been exported worldwide. It is still in use today, only with a few modern improvements.
