In-Game description

The Petrov HS-100 B is a main battle tank, used by the FND, manufactured by Petrov in Far Cry 6.

Black paint, otherwise identical to the basic version, besides the main gun, it is armed with a coaxial machinegun, and a DShK Machine Gun. Since Yara is effectively stuck in time (due to difficulties importing anything into the country) the Yaran military have been forced to rely on obsolete tanks manufactured during the Cold War. Nontheless, despite their age, the tanks are a huge advantage for the Yaran military in the war against the Libertad revolutionaries.

Trivia

The Petrov HS-100 B at first glance appears to be based on the T-54/55 tank, although upon closer inspection, the tank appears to be a mashup of Soviet designs from the 40s and 50s. Notable elements include the rounded, cast joint between the front plates, as on the T-34, and a board dedicated to blocking water from covering the driver's periscopes and hatches when fording rivers, often equipped on T-54/55 and T-62 tanks.
