Flashbang

The Flashbang is a grenade which upon detonation emits a blinding light that temporarily paralyses and blinds enemies in the immediate vicinity. This gives the player a chance to burst in and take out the enemies while they are unable to retaliate.

Description

The Flashbang is best used in indoor environments and it is advisable to turn away or get behind cover when the Flashbang detonates, so as to prevent being temporarily blinded, as it also affects the player, not just the enemies.

The Flashbang doesn't just work on human enemies like the Mercenaries, but also works on the Trigens.

Trivia

• In the Far Cry manual, the Flashbang can be seen having a design closer to a Frag Grenade.
• It appears in Far Cry 6 Stranger Things DLC.
